Who is Ada Johanna?
Our scented candles are inspired by our grandmother, Ada Johanna. She was an elegant lady of interwar Estonia, whose dressing table was adorned with French perfumes and genuine pearls, while her table was set with fine Langebraun porcelain, Lorup crystal and silver spoons.
We never had the chance to meet her, yet photographs, family stories and her favourite scents — lilac, jasmine and lily of the valley — have created a lasting connection to her. We hope to bring some of the elegance and joy carried in her memory into your everyday life.
